The garden is an adventure for my youngest daughter. She is 2.5 years old. She picks bouquets of zinnias and morning glories all summer long. She knows which tomatoes are ripe to pick and eat. She knows where to find the blackberries that are ready. She takes her basket out and picks all the beans she can. She loves finding toads and tree frogs and worms. She gets me herbs while I’m cooking dinner.
