How to Grow Nasturtium 🌱 This unsung garden hero doesn’t receive nearly the praise it deserves. Nasturtiums are excellent companion plants, and trailing varieties make for a beautiful (and edible) groundcover. The seeds, leaves, and flowers of the plant are all edible, boasting a pungent, peppery taste.
Soak seeds overnight before planting, then sow directly into the garden at about 1/2 inch deep. Choose an area that receives full sun. Dwarf varieties do well in between plants, while larger varieties are perfect to plant in the corners of your raised beds or bordering in-ground plants.
