I had experience growing astilbes from bare roots before but these literally take the cake.  The third day after planting they peeked out of the soil and after one and a half weeks they were bushy, full, and one even had flowers. I’m so impressed! They are in pots to start but am trying to figure out the right shaded spot to re-plant soon.
