About Fivespot

These blooms are hardy, trailing, annual flowers native to California, but will grow prolifically throughout the rest of the United States as well. An extremely colorful wildflower that is rather easy to grow, Baby Blue Eyes or Five Spot remains one of our favorite all-purpose wildflowers!

When to Plant Fivespot Seeds

Sow directly once the threat of frost has passed. Fivespot also does great in containers. For growers in Zones cooler than 7, Fivespot will need to be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the final frost of Spring.

Where to Plant Fivespot Seeds

Fivespot does best in cooler climates with Full Sun conditions, though can tolerate Partial Shade. In warmer climates, Fivespot benefits from Partial Shade.
