Which “Fall Bulbs” are best for spring bloom in your region?
Tuesday, December 5th, 2017
The bulbs like Tulips and Daffodils, that are planted in fall to bloom in spring.
Easiest flowers of all! That’s the best thing about fall-planted bulbs. The secret is that the flower is already formed in each bulb…no green thumb required.
And everybody loves them. They’re the first blooms of spring, and some of the most beautiful of all. When you plan, don’t do it by “Hardiness Zones,” do it by region. Because many zones are widespread. For example, The Connecticut coast is in the same zone as northern New Mexico, but the climates are totally different. Forget your zone, and stick to the bulbs for your “region.”
