This Itoh peony was more than I could have ever hoped for! The first year it had a few buds, but this year it exploded with over 30 blooms!! They started out a creamy yellow, almost Ivory and then as they became more pronounced and began to open and display a beautiful yellow with reddish centers, The most beautiful flower I think I have ever seen( and I have grown all different types of flowers & come from a family of avid gardeners! ) Not to mention the beautiful scent was So exquisite, I noticed the neighbors stopping to get a closer look and I am sure to enjoy their sweet scent!!!! I couldn’t be happier! I have grown a lot of beautiful plants from Eden’s , but this is definitely one of my favorites!! Not to mention the blooms lasted nearly 3 weeks, I was just absolutely amazed and I am now obsessed with peonies!!!
